Oracle's acquisition of Hyperion means that there are now two highly capable and widely used OLAP technologies in the Oracle stable, namely 11g OLAP and Essbase. Meanwhile the Oracle BI Server, a core component of Oracle Business Intelligence Suite Enterprise Edition Plus, has become the de facto next generation Oracle BI platform, with its capability to integrate data from any source to enable an intuitive and seamless end user reporting experience. This presentation will focus on how to integrate cubes of data from both 11g OLAP and Essbase into BI EE Plus, and the presentation and use of that data through the Dashboards and Answers components. Further, it will demonstrate how the same data can be incorporated into BI Publisher "pixel perfect" reports.
