BI Consultant

Candidates must be customer-facing, proactive, prepared to add value and above all flexible both in terms of mobility and skill-base.

The role requires a strong and demonstrable ability to communicate with customers at all levels, and therefore demands a high standard of written and spoken English.

Typical project roles vary with experience, but require a balance of business understanding and technical competence. They usually involve a blend of analysis, design and development skills, at all levels of seniority from Analyst/Programmer through to Technical/Solution Architect.

Candidates are required to possess a blend of several of the following areas of technical and project expertise:

• Business Analysis & Data Modelling experience
• PM/Team Lead of enterprise data warehouse solutions
• Oracle Warehouse Builder
• Oracle BI Enterprise Edition
• Oracle Discoverer / Portal
• Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS BPM (preferably PerformancePoint or Hyperion)
• Database and SQL code performance tuning
